Sadly, we live in the age of “political correctness”. The true history of the Confederacy and the War Between the States has been significantly distorted – or even erased – to satisfy political objectives. We need good men like you to join us in our ranks and to stand up for those values that we hold dear. We are honored to have you as a fellow member of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars.
The National Military Order of the Stars and Bars' website has a FAQ page that is a good resource for new members. If you have any questions, please contact the Chief of Staff by using the Contact form. He will then either reply directly or route your question to the appropriate person. We have chosen to make email the primary means of contact within the Order, although arrangements can certainly be made for telephone and postal mail if needed. Congratulations on your membership in the Military Order of the Stars and Bars. By joining you have become the successor of those Officers and descendants who founded our organization 75 years ago in Columbia, South Carolina. As a heritage group we are dedicated to preserving the memory of the Confederate Officer Corps and the elected or appointed public officials of the Confederacy.
